Part of the nurturing life of every Christian congregation is to provide for the instruction and faithful development of each of its members. This is regularly accomplished in our congregation through our Christian Education ministry. Christian education includes such ministries as Vacation Bible School, Confirmation ministry, Bible studies and special studies, but is primarily centered in our Sunday School and weekly adult and children’s Bible study ministries.

Sunday School

Sunday School begins at 9:15 a.m. each week.

We have a variety of class offerings every Sunday! For adults there are three regularly scheduled classes. Our Adult Bible Study Class (the “Parlor Class”) is an ongoing study of the books of the Bible through printed Concordia materials. Our Disciples Bible Study Class is an ongoing study of different books and themes of the Bible or specific topics related to faith development. Our Ladies Bible study focuses on biblical issues related to the life of the Christian woman.

For the children, we have age appropriate classes designed to meet your child with the good news of Jesus in a way that is practical, tangible, and live-giving. From nursery to high school classes, our children and youth learn that God is always with them and will never leave their side.

Confirmation for 7th and 8th graders typically begins in the fall each year and runs through the end of the school year. Confirmation (or ‘affirmation of baptism’) is designed for students who have been baptized and raised in the faith who now claim that faith as their own.

Please contact us if we can help you find a class that is the right fit for you!

Life Groups

We are starting LIFE GROUPS!

At Holy Trinity, we believe that every disciple is called to experience meaningful relationships with Jesus and with one another. Therefore, we are launching Life Groups to help us fulfill this important call for every person, no matter where they are in their relationship with Christ.

Holy Trinity’s first Life Group is specifically for moms! This group meets every other Monday from 6:30-7:30pm. Please contact the church office for more information.

WHAT IS A LIFE GROUP?

Great question! A Life Group is more than a small group, a Bible study, or a time of fellowship. It certainly isn’t a clique. It is a group of people (5-6) who desire to be a Jesus-centered family on mission.

Life Groups help everyone grow in their personal relationship with Jesus as His disciples. They always invite new people into their group and work to launch new Life Groups in our church family.

WHAT DO LIFE GROUPS DO?

Life Groups do life together. They have regularly scheduled times of meeting each month to study God’s Word (called “Group Time”), fellowship, and serve together – in addition to regular Sunday morning activities.

Group Time – Each Life Group will meet somewhere (the church, someone’s home, or other designated space) to do the following:

    1. Share God Sightings: Groups talk about the week and how they’ve seen Jesus at work.
    2. Study God’s Word: Using the previous Sunday’s readings and sermon or utilizing a Bible study resource, groups unpack the Bible and apply it together.
    3. Review the Mission: Groups reflect on who they are trying to invite into their group, create a plan to invite them in, and pray for their efforts.
    4. Engage the Heart: Groups discuss their highs and lows, confess sin, and pray for one another.

Fellowship – Groups pick a place to spend time together. This gives the Life Group the opportunity to build and strengthen their relationship with one another and invite non-Christians into a non-threatening environment.

Serve – Life Groups engage the mission of the Church by reaching out into the community and serving their neighbors in Jesus’ name.

Sundays – Groups commit to bringing their families to Sunday school and worship to experience Jesus, connect with others, and be challenged to live out the Church’s mission during the week.
